Go Animate

While reading about Steve Dembo's 3o Days to Being a Better Blogger, I ran across an older posting on Go Animate..... a program that allows you to create animations easier to use than Flash. I tried embedding a sample here but failed.....so go to the website and check it out.

K12 Online Conference

The past three years, during the second half of October, there has been an online conference that spans a two week period. Participants include educators from around the world interested in innovative ways Web2.0 tools and technologies can be used to improve learning. You can find info on all of the sessions, presenters, and more at http://k12onlineconference.org/.

Another excellent way to continue your personal professional development is through podcasts. The sessions from this conference are all available through iTunes by searching K12 Online.

beFunky

Sent via email on July 3rd to all staff.
Every now and then, we all need to get funky.   Add a creative twist to an assignment, or your personal photo album with www.befunky.com.  Create your very own avatar or a cartoonized picture of yourself or a friend.  Below, I got funky in San Antonio, Texas with my husband and daughter.  I was here for a conference at which we received cowboy hats at the keynote.  Looks like they came in handy for this funny family photo.

Get creative and check out beFunky.
